Hello.  My name is Jane and I own Suds and Hugs. My love for dogs gave me the incentive to train as a dog groomer which has allowed me to combine that love with a skill I’m truly passionate about. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for while they’re with me. From childhood I grew up with dogs in my life .

Grooming isn’t just about keeping dogs looking their best—it’s about building trust, boosting their comfort, and giving them a positive experience. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog leave relaxed, happy, and proud, knowing they’ve been treated with patience, kindness, and plenty of love.

I have completed a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Styling, trained in Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning and am Canine First Aid certified.

Suds and Hugs Dog Grooming is home based. I created my studio to be a calm and welcoming space where your dog can feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their time with me.  A bowl of water will always be available.

The garden is secure and enclosed which allows your dog to roam around when having a break or a toilet stop. I also have a cage free policy to ensure your dog is happy.

There is also free, off-road parking available when you drop off and collect your dog.
